When O’Dowd came in to audition, it was just one of those things where it was just wasn’t even a question. Like, he got up and I remember I looked at Annie right as he was leaving the room and he left and we were like, “OH MY GOD! HE’S PERFECT!” He’s so charming and funny and nice! And he’s a great improviser… And we just struck gold with him.
